, CD player often does not find audio CD

I have bought a brand new PHILIPS AZ 1316. Problem is with CD player. It very often shows \'No CD\' while audio CD is inside. This trouble occured right after unpacking and stays until now. However, when CD is taken out and repeatedly input into the CD player, everything seems to work well. Playing music seems all right. Wonder if that is a serious manufacturing error or some dust?
