SP-11, Still a great pre amp

I purchased an SP-11 pre amp used from a local dealer at least ten years ago. Since then I have sent it into ARC (after purchasing the correct and proper shipping cartons from them) to have a few worn resistor and caps replaced. They went through the whole pre amp and out board power supply, replaced worn or out of tolerance components and then did some free updates to the phono section, ended up costing a few hundred dollars plus a new set of tubes. I use the phono section as a primary source and my wife uses the line stage for the cd /dvd player and music streaming. Still sounds great after all these years with a little TLC from a company that is still around servicing old product and designing new product. One of the greats!
