History
Aspire Digital website (October 8, 2006): • Aspire Digital was founded in 2002 in Los Angeles, California.
The company was incorporated by a group of executives who also established the market in the U.S. for affordable film scanners and imaging systems. Its incorporation was further enhanced by the acquisition of key manufacturing facilities in China for digital video and audio products. Since acquiring these facilities, a vertical integration program was completed which allows full in-house production of home theater components: amplifier, subwoofer, and speaker driver designs. In the last quarter of 2003, in an aggressive expansion program, Aspire Digital opened its own large manufacturing facility in China. This is a full vertically integrated facility which produces high quality, state-of-the-art DVD players and DVD+RW recorders. This factory features the engineering and production support for all key RW technologies, ESS, Cirrus Logic, and LSI. Today, Aspire Digital offers more than 100 industrial designs for its OEM customers to choose from. The company also directly markets and distributes more than 30 different models and configurations of DVD players, DVD+R recorders, Speaker Systems, Subwoofers, and Home Theater Systems.
