General information[contribute]

The Bowers and Wilkins P-2-H is an electrostatic speaker. It was manufactured from 1968 to 1970.

Leo Malet (August 2002): B&W P2H Electrostatic Loudspeakers. Dimensions are 127cm high X 42cm wide X 38cm deep). These speakers sound great, similar to the Quad electrostatics but with genuine bass response.

Frank Beltzner (November 2002): I saw the B&W P2H listed as an electrostatic speaker. I think this may be a mistake. This speaker was equiped with an ionic tweeter, namely the Fane 601. In a later version of the P2H this ionic tweeter was replaced by a ribbon tweeter from Kelly. I still have a pair of the original P2H's dated 1966.
