Russ Sadd: The Goodman ESL made its debut at the first Audio Fair, held in April, 1956, at the Washington Hotel in London. It measured 4'3" by 3'6", had a radiating area of 8 square feet, and handled a maximum of 15W. As a reviewer remarked at the time, "the purity of the quality of reproduction is beyond dispute".
