General information[contribute]

The Infinity SM-150 is a dynamic speaker. It was manufactured from 1986 to unknown.

Carl (March 9, 2010): I've had a pair of these for about 22 years and they are awesome. They create a sound wall (especially when you drive them with Carver and are using sonic holography) that is electric and will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. In the 22+ years that I've had them, I've replaced one woofer and one tweeter, then had the woofers recovered and coils reset. I'm still using them with the carver system and my neighbors still don't care for me. They can keep that 5.1 crap.

John (May 2, 2010): Totally agree! These speakers are tops. I got my first pair in 1987 and then got a second pair two years later. I was pressured into getting rid of one set by my wife, but will not part with the second. With a SPL of 102 and high power handling, these speakers sound great with soft classical music as well as heavy rock. Try them once with the 1812 Overture and you will see what I mean. It's not easy to find speakers like this any more...

Pete (December 17, 2010): These speakers are super in the right sized room. A lot of people try to put them in a room that is simply too small. These speakers have tremendous frequency response and are VERY efficient so your amp doesn't need to work as hard. i will never part with them...
