At the same time, a new company has been established under the name of Luxman Corporation, to succeed to the traditional Luxman audio brand that has grown together with the development of Japanese audio.

Luxman web site (March 31, 2010): Lux Corporation was established in 1925 when radio broadcasting started in Japan. The radio department opened in Lux Corporation, Osaka, which handled pictures and frames at that time. As the department displayed radio receivers in the store showcases for the first time in Osaka, almost all the passengers stopped there to listen to the superb sound of the receivers. The SQ-5A is a representative model among early stereo pre-main amplifiers.
