General information[contribute]

The Proton 300 is a solid state amplifier. It was manufactured from 1982 to unknown.

Bob (June 29, 2009): The tuner is second to none. It picks up very hard to tune stations, has an excellent amplifier and small integrated speaker. An external antenna can also be hooked up.

This is a great sounding, easy to use unit that delivers stunning, deep, full detailed sound. It can also be hooked to a pre-amp to deliver extraordinary radio signals to your system. Used as an independent radio, it also has jacks for an Auxiliary input source (iPod, tape, etc.), as well as an auxiliary speaker.
