TronG T Audio web site (July 19, 2009): Avantgarde loudspeakers have earnt their excellent reputation in part through their incredible sensitivity (see Technical Specifications). It is this sensitivity that allows them to faithfully convey every nuance, every subtle timbre of the original recording and with very low colouration. This sensitivity however requires critical amplification partnering – only a few watts is required and this is where you can achieve so much with a very simple and elegant SET amplifier. One with a very low noise floor.
